Embark on a mystical journey into the heart of the Kitzsteinhorn
On the TOP OF SALZBURG panorama platform, you meet your guide – a real ranger from the Hohe Tauern National Park. Together, you head into the mountain. With every step through the mystical, 360-m-long National Park Gallery info tunnel, you feel the glacier’s heartbeat. At six stations, the ranger gives fascinating insights into the history, technology, natural treasures, flora and fauna of the Kitzsteinhorn and the Hohe Tauern National Park. At the end of the tunnel, a breathtaking highlight awaits you: The National Park Gallery panorama platform gives a spectacular view into the untouched mountain world of the National Park. To the south, you can even see the Grossglockner – Austria’s highest mountain.
Top tip: Get in the mood for the tour and visit Austria’s highest-situated movie theater Cinema 3000: The film “Kitzsteinhorn – THE NATURE” presents Kitzsteinhorn’s unique adventure, plant and animal world with stunning footage. The cinema is located on the ground floor of the summit station, the movie is showing all day.

Scooter fans from all over the world meet at the Vespa Alp Days in the breathtaking setting of Zell am See-Kaprun. The region, with its mountainous landscape and roads, is perfect for long scooter excursions. There are also many exciting Vespa side-events again this year in the heart of town. Be part of this great event and enjoy 10 days of unforgettable "scooter feeling".

On Fridays, from 8 am to 1 pm, you will be offered a large selection of culinary delicacies and much more at a number of market stalls that will continue to grow until the summer. Come to Zell's town square, enjoy the market atmosphere and buy fresh, local products. Stroll from stall to stall and choose from the delicacies: fruit, vegetables, potatoes, bread, cheese, meat, dumplings, pastries, honey, jams, oils, creative floristry and decoration, organic CBD products made in-house...
The town market will also take place in 2025 every Friday from 21 March to 19 December from 8 am to 1 pm In September there will always be live music!
Kids Day - Climbing at Club Kitzsteinhorn

First climbing attempts amidst glaciers, mountains, and lakes You will make your first climbing attempts on a climbing tower with various difficulty levels.
It requires a bit of courage and helps improve your coordination and dexterity.
Older children will have the opportunity to take on some responsibility for belaying.
The most important thing is to have fun!
